Certified Financial Modeler

As a Certified Financial Modeler, you analyze past financial statements to create a projected income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. You conduct company valuations and understand how various financial management activities, such as bond issuance, impact your model. You learn to simplify complex realities into Excel models.

Certified Financial Engineer

As a Certified Financial Engineer, you develop optimal option strategies to hedge your portfolio or enhance its performance. You use models such as EWMA, ARCH, or GARCH to calculate volatility and perform simulations to determine portfolio risks. You also learn how simulation-based company valuation techniques can be used to accurately reflect risks in the business plan.
